By leveraging my skills in graphic design and user experience, I created engaging and user-friendly content that effectively connected the new students with the NewSchool and its culture. The social media package included two face filters for Instagram and a pack of stickers featuring Gnarls, The NewSchool mascot.

As a Product Designer, I was a key player in a digital strategy to engage younger students from The New School and connect them with the university. Using my expertise in UI/UX research and evaluation, I conducted extensive research to gain insights into the needs and preferences of this demographic. Based on my findings, I conceptualized and created a comprehensive social media package that was tailored to meet the unique needs of the target audience. I took advantage of the newly launched tool from Facebook/Meta to develop facefilters, SparkAr.

 

Join the Fun with Gnarls with a welcome Package for New Students

The package was designed to welcome new students for the upcoming academic year and included a range of engaging and interactive content. One of the highlights of the package was the creation of two face filters for Instagram that featured Gnarls, the new school mascot. The filters were designed to be fun and playful, while also promoting a sense of community and belonging among the new students. I utilized my skills in graphic design and user experience to ensure that the filters were visually appealing and user-friendly, allowing for a seamless and enjoyable experience for the users.

 

In addition to the face filters, the social media package also included a pack of stickers featuring Gnarls, the new school mascot. The stickers were designed to be versatile and could be used across multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. I created a range of designs that were playful, eye-catching, and aligned with the overall brand identity of The New School. By incorporating the mascot into the stickers, I was able to create a strong visual identity that resonated with the target audience.

 


Overall, my role as involved not only creating engaging content but also ensuring that it was aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the digital strategy.
